Pengaruh Komunikasi Internal Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Hotel Ashley Tanah Abang Jakarta
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of internal communication on employee performance at Ashley Hotel Tanah Abang Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale of 1–5. The population in this study consisted of 30 employees from the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage departments, with total sampling used as the sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that internal communication is in the good category with a mean value of 3.92, while employee performance is also in the good category with a mean value of 4.03. Hypothesis testing indicates that internal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination value of 32.6% shows that internal communication contributes to employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, effective internal communication can improve employee performance through clarity of information, work coordination, and increased motivation. Therefore, management is advised to strengthen two-way communication, encourage employee participation, and implement participative leadership to improve performance sustainably.
