Pengaruh Motivasi dan Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Crew Event Pada Rhapsodie.Co Indonesia Piano Competition Jabodetabek 2025

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and competence on the performance of event crew at the Rhapsodie.co Indonesia Piano Competition Jabodetabek 2025. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive and verificative approach. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents who are event crew members. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS 26. The results show that work motivation and competence have a positive and significant effect on event crew performance. Partially, motivation has a significant effect on performance with a significance value of 0.007, while competence has a more dominant effect with a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect performance with an F-value of 85.783. The coefficient of determination of 0.813 indicates that 81.3% of the variation in performance is influenced by motivation and competence. The conclusion of this study is that motivation and competence are the main factors determining event crew performance. Therefore, it is recommended that management improve technical and problem-solving training and strengthen work motivation through an optimal appreciation system to support more effective performance.
