Persepsi Room Attendant Terhadap Karakteristik Kepemimpinan Efektif di Departemen Housekeeping The Royal Pita Maha
Abstract
Effective leadership is the ability to encourage a number of people to work together to carry out activities that are directed at organizational goals. This study aimed to determine Room Attendant perceptions of effective leadership characteristics in the Housekeeping Department of The Royal Pita Maha. The problem limitation in this research is Supervisor. In obtaining data, this research uses quantitative and qualitative data. To get answers to the formulation of the problem, this study uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, data collected by distributing questionnaires to Housekeeping Department staff. After conducting research, the results showed that of the 14 indicators of effective leadership characteristics, it was seen that 4 indicators were of good value, 9 indicators were of fair value and 1 indicator was of poor value. The conclusion of this study shows that the characteristics of effective leadership in the Housekeeping Department of The Royal Pita Maha have been implemented well on 4 indicators, moderately well on 9 indicators and not well on 1 indicator. It is recommended to always continuously implement the principles of effective leadership characteristics in the Housekeeping Department of The Royal Pita Maha.
