Jurnal Ilmiah Pariwisata (JIP) is managed by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Trisakti (P3M STP Trisakti) Jakarta.

First published in October 1996 under the name Jurnal Penelitian Dan Karya Ilmiah, JIP-STPT (ISSN 1411-1527). This is the first accredited Scientific Tourism Journal to obtain the Higher Education Accreditation No.52.Dikti / Kep / 2002. The authors who have filled in the journal issue are STP Trisakti lecturers and freelance writers from educational institutions, government institutions, journalists and observers in the field of tourism. In 2006 Jurnal Ilmiah Pariwisata received the Higher Education Accreditation No. 55a / Dikti / Kep / 2006.
