Penguatan Kelembagaan Pokdarwis Tuah Peuraja Untuk Pengelolaan Desa Wisata Lamjamee, Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

 Nowadays, tourism is not only developing in urban areas, but has penetrated the village level through the village tourism trend. One of the important components that must be met is a tourism village management institution or a tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) with a targeted development program. Pokdarwis' lack of understanding regarding tourism is one of the factors that hinders the development of tourist villages. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide intensive assistance to Pokdarwis in increasing understanding of tourism and compiling work programs as an effort to strengthen Pokdarwis institutions and identify potential tourist objects and attractions. The method used is identifying potential as an initial stage and then preparing a work program. Community Service activities produced data on the identification of potential tourist attractions in Lamjamee Village and a number of detailed Pokdarwis work programs for each division.
