Each manuscript submitted to JPP undergoes a scholarly review process to ensure its quality, relevance, originality, and alignment with the journal’s scope. JPP applies a double-blind peer review system. The authors do not know the identities of the reviewers, and the reviewers do not know the identities of the authors. This system is intended to maintain objectivity and minimize potential bias during manuscript evaluation.

 

After a manuscript is submitted through the journal system, the editor conducts an initial screening. This assessment covers the suitability of the topic with the journal’s focus and scope, completeness of the article structure, writing quality, compliance with author guidelines, and manuscript originality.

 

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject of the article. The reviewers evaluate key aspects, including research novelty, methodological accuracy, clarity of analysis, quality of discussion, relevance of references, scholarly contribution, and consistency of the conclusions.

Based on the review results, reviewers may provide one of the following recommendations:

1. Accept Submission, the article may be accepted without substantial revision.
2. Revisions Required, the article requires revision before further consideration.
3. Resubmit for Review, the article requires substantial revision and must undergo another review process.
4. Decline Submission, the article is not suitable for publication.

 

Authors are required to respond systematically to the reviewers’ comments and revise the manuscript accordingly. The editor will evaluate the revised manuscript before making a further decision. The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief or the designated editor, taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations, the academic quality of the manuscript, and its compliance with the journal’s policies.

The entire review process is conducted confidentially. Reviewers and editors must protect the confidentiality of the manuscript and must not use any information contained in the article for personal purposes before publication.
