Pelatihan Tour Guiding di Desa Tebara, Sumba Barat

Abstract

 The target participants for the community service program are young men and women who are members of the Pokdarwis, MSME activists. The problem is a need for more understanding and the ability to guide tours, which is one of the supporting factors for tourists visiting. The approach to implementing the service program uses the Community-based participatory research (CBPR) method. The results obtained are that participants (1) gain knowledge and understanding of the tour guide profession; (2) participants can practice the simulation of being a tour guide by giving greetings, introducing themselves, and explaining tourist attractions in simple terms.
