Indo-China Collaboration: Pengenalan, Penguatan, dan Promosi Budaya dan Pariwisata Bali
Abstract
Politeknik Internasional Bali’s Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen Bali's cultural and tourism promotion strategy to make it more relevant to the younger generation of Chinese, addressing the limited use of Mandarin in Indonesia and local digital platforms. The implementation method applies to a collaborative educational approach between students of Xiamen Nanyang College and Politeknik Internasional Bali through observation, visual documentation, and questionnaire surveys. The results and discussion indicate significant success, with 85.71% of participants experiencing an increase in cultural understanding. Furthermore, this activity has been proven to expand international networks, support cultural diplomacy, and provide educational and economic impacts for the local community. This activity can conclude that education-based international collaboration is an effective strategy for promoting sustainable tourism. For future Community Service activities, it is recommended that future programs allocate a longer duration and intensify language preparation to minimize communication barriers encountered during the activity.
