Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern
Jurnal Pemberdayaan Pariwisata (JPP) is committed to preserving the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When significant errors or concerns are identified in a published article, the journal will assess the matter and determine the appropriate action.
Corrections: A correction may be issued when an error in a published article affects the accuracy, clarity, or completeness of the publication but does not invalidate its overall findings or conclusions.
Retractions: An article may be retracted when there is reliable evidence of serious research or publication misconduct, substantial errors that invalidate the findings, unethical research practices, or other circumstances that make the article unreliable.
Expressions of Concern: Where credible concerns have been raised but an investigation is incomplete or the available evidence is insufficient for a final decision, the journal may publish an expression of concern when appropriate.
Requests for corrections or retractions will be reviewed by the editorial team. Authors may be asked to provide explanations or supporting information, and institutions or other relevant parties may be contacted when necessary.
Editorial decisions will be made on the basis of the available evidence, the seriousness of the issue, and the need to protect the scholarly record. Any correction, retraction, or expression of concern will clearly identify the affected article and explain the reason for the editorial action.
The journal will maintain appropriate links between the original article and any subsequent editorial notice to ensure transparency for readers.
