Revitalisasi Bojong Honje: Dari Potensi Tersembunyi Menuju Destinasi Wisata
Abstract
This community service program aims to increase public awareness and participation in the development of Bojong Honje’s tourism potential, a pioneering tourism village located in Cibuntu Village, Wanayasa District, Purwakarta Regency. Bojong Honje possesses rich natural resources and unique local culture, offering significant potential for community-based tourism. However, local participation remains low due to limited awareness, suboptimal quality of local products, and weak entrepreneurial capacity among micro and small business actors. The program was conducted over four months through five main stages: coordination, material preparation, dissemination and community education, evaluation, and final reporting. Key activities included tourism awareness workshops, digital marketing training, and business ethics education for local residents. The results indicate a notable improvement in the community’s understanding of tourism development, increased motivation to enhance the quality of local products, and greater readiness to participate in village-based tourism initiatives. This program is expected to serve as a sustainable model for empowering rural communities in tourism development.
