Abstract

Panji Festival is an event that was held in Panji Tourism Village before the Covid-19 pandemic. The festival showcased the village's rich cultural heritage, fostering a strong sense of community pride. However, after the pandemic, the village faced challenges in reviving the event. Seeing an opportunity for the revival of the event, the Village Head asked the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Convention and Event Management Study Program to initiate a two-year capacity building program aimed at equipping the village community with the skills needed for effective event planning and implementation. As a result, the community worked together with the Student and faculty members to successfully organize the festival. This exciting partnership involved the local community, Convention and Event program students and Lecturers to work together to plan and implement Panji Edu Eco Festival, which was held on June 13, 2025. This marked a significant turning point, as the village adopted a new model of collaborating with the Convention and Event Study Program, Bali Tourism Polytechnic to organize cultural events, combining traditional heritage with modern event management expertise. This collaboration is expected to revive the Panji Festival, making it a showcase of the village's ability to adapt and thrive
