Pemberdayaan Kelompok Kampung Bahari Sukawali Dalam Mewujudkan Sapta Pesona Berbasis Masyarakat

Abstract

Sukawali Village in Tangerang Regency possesses coastal tourism potential, specifically Mangrove Edutourism and KSS Beach. Yet management is suboptimal, promotion is minimal, and tidal flooding is a frequent constraint. This Community Service program aims to empower the Nusantara Marine Village Group and the surrounding community to implement Sapta Pesona and support sustainable tourism development. The objectives include providing training in Excellent Service and Tour Guides, strengthening digital promotion, and implementing tidal flood mitigation technology. The methodology involved identifying issues in management and community participation, conducting field surveys, and developing a structured program. The core PKM activity was the Excellent Service training, which significantly increased comprehension, evidenced by the participants' average post-test score rising from 59 to 71. Tour Guide training was also delivered to enhance the skills of KKBN members. Supporting activities for Sapta Pesona included KSS beach clean-ups, mangrove planting, and the construction of APO (Wave Breakers) , along with applying mitigation technology like water level measuring devices. Overall, the PKM successfully transferred social innovation and technology, enhanced KKBN's understanding of service standards, promotion, and disaster mitigation, and built collective awareness for sustainable, community-based marine tourism management. Future recommendations include developing facilities, strengthening digital management, maintaining stakeholder synergy, and developing processed mangrove products.
